The 2nd Annual University of Kansas Society of Petroleum Engineers and American Association of Drilling Engineers Golf Classic will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Alvamar Golf Course in Lawrence, KS. Alvamar golf course, the first public golf course in Lawrence, is home to the University of Kansas golf teams. It boasts some of Midwest’s finest practice/ training facility. Alvamar is one of two 36-hole facilities in the state of Kansas. It also offers a challenging course with amazing greens and bunkers, and many surprises along the way. This year’s tournament offers you a chance to meet outstanding students, catch up with old friends, make new ones, and support an organization that houses the future professionals of our industry.
The student sections of the American Association of Drilling Engineers and the Society of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Kansas will organize the tournament. This serves as our major fundraising event for the school year.
Money raised is used to:

Subsidize KUSPE’s student expense for the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE).

Subsidize KUAADE’s student expense for the AADE annual National Technical Conference and Exhibition in San Antonio, TX.

Remaining funds will be used for KUSPE’s and AADE’s recurring yearly expenses.
